This is one of those cases where you find an entire "Discovery" to be looking for one thing very different from that found. I think it's interesting enough to share with you.

PANORAMAS OF WORLD WAR II LANDMARKS is a compilation of Web Project "Panoramas" on QTVR spaces that are somehow related to the Second World War. QTVR stands for QuickTime VR (VR: English Acronyms Virtual Reality) file format created by Apple Inc. that allows viewing of panoramic images in 360 degrees and even in cubic form, which see a space freely in all directions. You can also simulate the exploration of objects through images taken from different angles.

According to the founders of this project, this space was born around November 11, 2004, a date that coincides with the commemoration of the First World War. Today, they have a large archive of "Panoramas WWII" in many places on the planet. This file is fed by many photographers who unselfishly perform complex shoots capturing spaces that can live virtually monuments, museums, battlefields, cemeteries and even the concentration camps of World War II.

I've been viewing the various locations and spaces, and it's amazing. I recommend that you take a look, it's worth.

As an example, here we put these images of tunnels, bunkers and corridors of Okinawa, but of course, not in QTVR format.

If you are a photographer, you live near any location that has to do with the topic and want to participate in this project, as you could bring your work. Check out this LINK , containing information relating to the subject.

If you want to go deeper on this technology, here I put two links to the Apple website.
